Anne was born in October 1744 in Outwood and her baptism took place on October 28th, 1744 at St. Saviour (Ringley).¹

Anne's father was James Mather Jnr and her mother was Mary. She had six brothers and a sister, named John, James, Miles, Miles, Mary, Thomas and Alice.  She was the third oldest of the eight children. She had a half-brother named Lomas.  She died at 3 months old in January 1745 in Ringley.  She was buried on January 13th, 1745 at St. Saviour (Ringley).¹
