Alice's father was James Mather Jnr and her mother was Mary. She had six brothers and a sister, named John, James, Miles, Miles, Mary, Thomas and Anne.  She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother named Lomas.  She died at 9 months old on December 29th, 1754 in Ringley.  She was buried on December 29th, 1754 at St. Saviour (Ringley).
