Alice Maude Mather

Alice was born on March 6th, 1869 in Chorlton (Lancs).¹

Alice's father was James Mather and her mother was Fanny Davies. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Alice Tweedy. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, James, Justin, Emma and Kate. She was the second oldest of the six children.
