Elizabeth was born in 1879 in Tottington.¹

Birth Notes

Elizabeth's father was Thomas (James) Henry Marsden and her mother was Sarah Ann Isherwood. Her maternal grandparents were Jonathan Isherwood and Ann Mather. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Fred, Albert, Arthur, Margaret and Annie. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 83 in 1962.
