Lester was born on September 8th, 1928. Lester's father was Walter Henry August Walter Licht and his mother was Olga Augusta Matilda Witthoeft. His paternal grandparents were Heinrich (Henry) Willhelm Licht and Catharine (Elise) Christiane Dorothee Elisabeth Niemann. He had two brothers and a sister, named Alfred, Delbert and Dorothy. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 92 on August 31st, 2021 in Minnesota (MIN).¹
