Richard Lewis

Richard was born in 1826 in Shocklach. Richard's father was Thomas Lewis and his mother was Mary Mullock. His maternal grandparents were Richard Mullock and Jane Richards. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Robert, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the oldest of the five children.

General Notes
- In 1861, Mary (56, Widow) and her three unmarried sons Richard, Samuel and Robert (35, 24, 21) were running the 66 acre farm at Lane End.
  
  In 1871, Richard (45) was still unmarried with his mother anmd brother Robert (32).
