Elizabeth (Betsy) Lee

Elizabeth, known as Betsy, was born in March 1848 in Bolton and her baptism took place on December 3rd, 1848 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Betsy's father was John Lee and her mother was Mary Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Betty (Elizabeth) Morris. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Nancy, Ellen and Sarah. She had an adopted sister named Mary. She died at the age of 4 in January 1853 in Bolton. Her burial was on January 16th, 1853 in Bolton.³
