Phyllis was born in June 1897 in Turton.¹

Birth Notes

Phyllis' father was Henry Isherwood and her mother was Alice Ann Crook. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Isherwood and Margaret Bentley; her maternal grandparents were William Crook and Elizabeth Kay. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Norman, Annie, Bertha, Elsie and Frances. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 75 in 1972 in Oregon (OR).²
