William Isherwood

William was born about 1795. He died before 1841.

General Notes
- In 1841, Mary was alone (aged 40) at Duncar Fold, so it is assumed William had died. With her were Jonathan (20), Samuel (20), John (15), Sarah (15), Henry (13) and James (9).
  
  William was described as a Waggoner, a carter and a porter.

- From 1843 to after 1856 William's occupation was Waggoner in transportation in Turton.

    - Waggoner when sons Jonathan married (1843) and John married (1850) and James (1856). A carter when Samuel married (1837) and Sarah (1856).
  From 1857 his occupation was Porter in transportation in Turton.

    - A Porter when Henry married
