James Howarth

James was born about 1640 in Blackburn.¹   James' father was Peter Howarth and his mother was Grace Crosse.  His paternal grandparents were Lawrence Howarth and Alice Holden. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Lawrence, Thomas, Thomas, Richard, John, Lawrence, Alice and Ellen.  He was the third youngest of the nine children.  He died after 1677.¹
