Thomas Hopley

Thomas was born in 1832 in Broxton.¹

Birth Notes
- In 1841, Thomas was 7 at Carden (between Clutton, Broxton and Tilston).
  
  Aged 52 in 1881

Thomas' father was Thomas Hopley and his mother was Rebecca Jones. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Jane Shone. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Randle, Samuel, Elizabeth, Margaret and Mary. He was the second oldest of the six children.

General Notes
- In 1841, Thomas (47) was an Ag. Labourer with wife Rebecca (37), Thomas (7), Elizabeth (12), Margaret (7), Randall (3) and Samuel (1). They were at Carden (between Clutton, Broxton and Tilston).
  
  Thomas had left home by 1851
  
  In 1881, Thomas (52) was at Penly, Shropshire, married to Jane (59, a lunatic). They had his unmarried sister Elizabeth (54, Dairy Maid) living with them.
