In 1841, Thomas (47) was an Ag. Labourer with wife Rebecca (37), Thomas (7), Elizabeth (12), Margaret (7), Randall (3) and Samuel (1). They were at Carden (between Clutton, Broxton and Tilston).
Elizabeth had left home by 1851, and probably had an illegitimate son George and daughter Annie. She was 23, working as a kitchen maid for John Davies at farmer at Manor House, Hampton, Cheshire.
Elizabeth was the mother of George and possibly also Annie, born 1856-58. The father may have been one of the servants at Hampton where she was in 1851.
Elizabeth, 38, and unmarried was back with her mother in 1861, a Dairy Maid.
