Anne Hopley

Anne was born in 1784 in Bickley and her baptism took place on August 22nd, 1784 at St. Oswalds (Malpas).¹

Anne's father was William Hopley and her mother was Sarah Griffiths.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Cicely (Cecilla) Johnson. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, William, Martha and Mary.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 17 in May 1801 in Malpas.  She was buried on May 20th, 1801 at St. Oswalds (Malpas).¹
