Ann's father was Peter Holt and her mother was Mary Rogerson.  Her paternal grandparents were Richard Holt and Ellen. She had a sister named Mary.  She was the older of the two children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Adam, John, Margaret, Ellen, Betty and Ellen.
