Josiah A Holding 
Josiah was born in May 1860 in Southport.1 Josiah's father was Ralph Holding and his mother was Mary Ann Vickers Mather. His maternal grandparents were Josiah (Joseph) Mather and Amelia Vicars. He had a brother and a sister, named Frederick and Amelia. He was the youngest of the three known children.
