Ann Haslam

Ann was born in 1812 in Turton.¹

- Aged 49 in 1861, born Turton
  
  There is no baptism record for Ann. However, we know she is family because her brother Isaac was a lodger in 1861.

Ann's father was John Haslam and her mother was Mary Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Alice Entwistle. She had five brothers and a sister, named William, John, Charles, Thomas, Isaac and Ellen. She was the oldest of the seven children.

- 3 Mar 1834 Ann married Samuel Higham at Bolton
  
  In 1861, Samuel and Ann Higham (55 & 49) were at Edgworth with Ann's brother Isaac (33) a lodger and John Crankshaw (48), also a lodger.
