John Hartley

John was born in 1842. John's father was Joseph Hartley and his mother was Margaret (Peggy) Booth. His maternal grandparents were Richard Booth and Catherine Whalley. He had four brothers and a sister, named William, Adam, Richard, Thomas and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the six children.
