Mehetable's father was Abraham Grimshaw and her mother was Elizabeth Sandall.  Her paternal grandparents were Josiah Grimshaw and Sarah Ibbitson. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Aaron, Abraham, Josiah, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah, Rachel and Rebecca.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 3 on October 18th, 1737 in Rawden.  She was buried in October 1737 in Rawden.¹
