Bennett Greenhalgh 
Bennett was born in 1888. Bennett's father was Bennett Greenhalgh and his mother was Mary Philling. His paternal grandparents were Squire Greenhalgh and Esther Isherwood. He had six brothers and four sisters, named William, Jonathan, Arthur, James, Peter, Thomas, Ann, Emily, Mary and Lizzie. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.-
