Margaret was born in 1842 in Preston and her baptism took place on May 22nd, 1842 at St. John (Preston).¹²

Birth Notes

Margaret's father was James Godment and her mother was Charlotte Isherwood. Her maternal grandparents were Ralph Isherwood and Ann Mather. She had a brother and a sister, named Christopher and Ann. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 2 in 1844 in Preston.¹
