Hannah's father was John Eastwood and her mother was Martha Shaw.  Her paternal grandparents were Eli Eastwood and Nancy Garside. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Eli, William, Joseph, John, Mary and Elizabeth.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
