William Dutton

William was born in 1841 in Liverpool.¹

Birth Notes
- Born about 1841. No Baptism record (but I haven't checked)

William's father was Thomas Dutton and his mother was Mary Ellison. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Dutton and Elizabeth (Betty) Bebbington; his maternal grandparents were John Ellison and Mary Whitley. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Joseph, Thomas, Thomas, Mary, Betty, Ann and Sarah. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 63 on July 27th, 1904 in Toxteth Park.¹

  It is rumoured that William lost all the Dutton money on a failed deal of wine from Portugal
