Joseph Dutton

Joseph was born on January 3rd, 1827 in Warrington and his baptism took place on January 7th, 1827 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹ Joseph's father was Thomas Dutton and his mother was Mary Ellison. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Dutton and Elizabeth (Betty) Bebbington; his maternal grandparents were John Ellison and Mary Whitley. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, Thomas, William, Mary, Betty, Ann and Sarah. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 89 on January 16th, 1916 in Toxteth Park. His burial was in Toxteth Park.¹¹
