Rachel was born in 1836 in Pentrobin.¹

Birth Notes

Rachel's father was Edward Davies and her mother was Sarah Griffiths. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Davies and Rachel Millington. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Samuel, Mary, Ellen, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 15 in 1851.
