Edward was born in 1799 in Pentrobin and his baptism took place on February 20th, 1799 in Hawarden.1  Edward's father was Edward Davies and his mother was Rachel Millington.  His maternal grandparents were John Millington and Margaret Youd. He had three brothers named John, Samuel and John.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 51 in December 1850 in Pentrobin.  He was buried on December 6th, 1850 in Hawarden.1

‌Edward and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on January 5th, 1835 in Chester.2  They had two sons and five daughters, named John, Samuel, Mary, Rachel, Ellen, Elizabeth and Sarah.  There are no more children.
