Beatrice's father was Edmund Thomas Davies and her mother was Esther Davies. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Davies and Anne Daulby. She had a brother and a sister, named Benjamin and Nellie. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 83 on June 17th, 1985 in Bristol.²
