Joshua Crosland

Joshua was born in April 1772 at DeadManStone and his baptism took place on April 13th, 1772 in Almondbury.¹

Joshua's father was Mr James Crosland and his mother was Ellen Batty. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Daniel, James, Hanah, Ellen and Mary.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 52 on March 13th, 1825 in Lockwood.²
