NOTE: There is another James Crosland Jnr, born 1780, son of James of Kippax (b.1745). This James Snr married Mary Hopwood (b.1744) at Kippax St Mary 7 Sep 1774, and Mary died and was buried there in 1789. In 1851, James a Shepherd and Mary (70 & 69) from Harrogate werre still alive at Kippax.
