Richard Buist

Richard's father was James Buist and his mother was Isabella Farquharson  Mearns. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, George, David, Annie and Magdaline.  He was the oldest of the six known children. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named James, Mary, Jane, Jessie, Williamina and Betsy.
