Richard Buist

Richard's father was James Buist and his mother was Isabella Farquharson  Mearns.  His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and Magdalene Matthewson. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, George, David, Annie and Magdaline.  He was the oldest of the six known children. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named James, Mary, Jane, Jessie, Williamina and Betsy.
