Hannah was born in February 1787 in Uppermill and her baptism took place on February 11th, 1787 at St. Chad (Saddleworth).1  Hannah's father was James Buckley Jnr and her mother was Margaret Platt.  Her paternal grandparents were James Buckley Snr and Elisabeth (Betty) Cresswell. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John, James, Mary, Betty, Sarah, Ann and Alice.  She was the youngest of the eight children.  She died at 5 months old in July 1787 in Uppermill.  She was buried on August 2nd, 1787 at St. Chad (Saddleworth).1
