Arthur was born in December 1779 in Halliwell and his baptism took place on December 26th, 1779 at St. Mary (Deane).1  Arthur's father was Arthur Bromiley and his mother was Abigail Fletcher.  His paternal grandparents were Arthur Bromiley and Mary Taylor. He had two brothers named John and Daniel.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died in December 1779 in Deane.  His burial was on December 26th, 1779 in Deane.2
