Sam Brereton

Sam was born in June 1870 in Weston (near Crew) and his baptism took place there on May 22nd, 1870.¹²

Sam's father was Samuel Brereton and his mother was Nancy Jane Moses. His paternal grandparents were William Brereton and Elizabeth Brockley; his maternal grandparents were Aaron Moses and Eliza Edwards. He had three brothers named Aaron, Thomas and Fred. He was the oldest of the four children.
