Nancy was born in June 1846 in Cheetham and her baptism took place on June 30th, 1846 in Wybunbury.1  Nancy's father was Aaron Moses and her mother was Eliza Edwards. She had five brothers named William, Aaron, John, George and Charles.  She was the second youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 29 in February 1876 in Weston (near Crew).  She was buried on February 7th, 1876 in Wybunbury.2 



Nancy's family with Samuel Brereton

‌Nancy and Samuel were married in a religious ceremony on September 24th, 1869 at Manchester Cathedral.3   They had four sons named Sam, Aaron, Thomas and Fred.
