Randle was born in 1783 in Acton by Nantwich and his baptism took place there on January 5th, 1783.1  Randle's father was John Brereton Snr and his mother was Anne (Hannah) Huxley.  His paternal grandparents were John Brereton and Maria (Mary) Blackmore. He had a brother and five sisters, named John, Mary, Elizabeth, Mary, Mary and Sally.  He was the youngest of the seven known children.  He died at the age of 54 in December 1837 in Nantwich.2
