Randle was born in 1783 in Acton by Nantwich and his baptism took place there on January 5th, 1783.1  Randle's father was John Brereton and his mother was Anne (Hannah) Huxley.  His paternal grandparents were John Brereton and Maria (Mary) Blackmore. He had a brother and four sisters, named John, Elizabeth, Mary, Mary and Sally.  He was the youngest of the six known children.  He died at the age of 54 in December 1837 in Nantwich.2
