Florence's father was Richard Booth and her mother was Margaret Martin. She had three brothers named Thomas, George and Levi.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Joseph, Adam, Richard, John, Betty, Alice, Sarah and Margaret.
