John was born on July 22nd, 1872 in Walkden.¹

Birth Notes

John's father was Henry Berry and his mother was Mary Ellen Pasquill. His paternal grandparents were John Berry and Mary Collings. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William, Robert, James, Henry, Maria, Ann, Emma, Mary and Jane. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 33 on July 22nd, 1905 in Wigan.²
