Mary Ann Barnes

Mary was born in April 1839 in Bolton and her baptism took place on October 13th, 1839 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Mary's father was James Barnes and her mother was Mary Bolton. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Bolton and Mary Whitaker. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, George, Maria, Harriet and Mary. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 8 in April 1847 in Bolton. Her burial was on April 22nd, 1847 in Bolton.³⁴
