Daughter Maria was born at Bolton in 1875. The only Bolton Birth record is for "Maria Barnes" has a mother SMETHURST.
In 1878, George Barnes married Annie Hall at Bolton Emmanuel.
In 1880 Alice (MMN = HALL) was born in Oldham, and in 1881 George and Annie were living in Oldham with Maria and Alice (5 & 1)
George was a Clogger Journeyman, and married again in 1892 to Ellen Higgins.
George and Annie were married in a religious ceremony in 1878 at Bolton Emmanuel.3 They had three daughters named Maria, Alice and Mary.
