Richard Banks

Richard was born in 1837 in Rumworth.¹

Richard's father was Philip Banks and his mother was Sarah Bolton. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Bolton and Mary Whitaker. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Betty, Maria, Mary, Ann and Alice. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
