Maria Banks

Maria was born on October 24th, 1835 in Rumworth and her baptism took place on March 26th, 1837 at St. Mary (Deane).^1 2

Maria's father was Philip Banks and her mother was Sarah Bolton.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Bolton and Mary Whitaker. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, John, Richard, Betty, Mary, Ann and Alice.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 74 in June 1910 in Fylde.³
