Sarah Atkinson

Sarah's father was David Atkinson and her mother was Sarah Wilkinson. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Atkinson and Agnes Storey; her maternal grandparents were John Wilkinson and Dorothy Wilkinson. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Robert, Rachel, Isabel, Dorothy, Hannah, Margaret, Agnes and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 76 on October 3rd, 1765 in Preston. Her burial was on October 6th, 1765 in Preston-Patrick.¹
