Edith Aspinall

Edith was born on March 7th, 1875 in Salford and her baptism took place on August 11th, 1886 at St. Mary (Deane).¹²

Edith's father was John Aspinall and her mother was Mary Welsby. Her maternal grandparents were Walter Welsby and Maria Bolton. She had three sisters named Elizabeth, Maria and Ellen. She was the third oldest of the four known children.

- 11 Aug 1886, Edith was baptised at St Mary's, Deane. She was already 11 yeard old.
  
  In 1891, Edith (16) was with her mother a Candy Shopkeeper at Rumworth, Bolton.
  
  In 1895, Edith Aspinall married Gilbert Smith Haydock at St Mary's, Deane.
  
  Gilbert died in 1909, and the folowing year Edith married Thomas Shepherd (a widower with son Edward)
