Sarah was born in 1835 in Tarvin.¹

Birth Notes

Sarah's father was William Ankers and her mother was Mary Hopley. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Hopley and Elizabeth (Betty) Perry. She had seven brothers and a sister, named George, Joseph, Samuel, John, Thomas, Emma, David and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the nine children.
