William Allen

William was born in 1782 in Halliwell and his baptism took place on January 18th, 1782 at St. Mary (Deane).¹

William's father was Richard Allen and his mother was Rachel Knowles. He had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, John, Thomas, Mathew and Betty.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 1 in November 1783 in Halliwell.  He was buried on November 13th, 1783 at St. Mary (Deane).¹
