Arthur Allen

Arthur was born in 1826 in Heap and his baptism took place on December 11th, 1825 at St. Leonard (Middleton).^1 2

Arthur's father was John Allen and his mother was Mary Mather. He had three brothers and a sister, named Richard, David, Walker and Martha.  He was the youngest of the five known children.  He died at the age of 41 on July 22nd, 1867 in Heywood.³ 

‌Arthur and Mary were married.  They had a daughter named Hannah.
