Cornelis (Niel) Jacobus Martens

Cornelis (Niel) was born on May 22nd, 1866. Cornelis (Niel)'s father was Cornelius (Basheesa) Jacobus Martens and his mother was Victoria Liversage. His paternal grandfather was Jan Thomas Martens and his paternal grandmother is Anna Maria Isabella Coetzee. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Jan, Samuel, Jacobus (Klein Koos), Harriet and Anna. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 54 in 1920.
