Austin Reed Giddings 
Austin was born on September 2nd, 1824 in Trumbull County, Ohio, USA.1 Austin's father was Clarke Giddings and his mother was Susanna Perkins. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Giddings and Submit Jones. He had four brothers and a sister, and also three siblings of unknown gender, named Calvin, Samuel, George, Homer, Sarah, Almon, Salmon and Erastus. He had three half-sisters named Emily, Harriet and Maria. He died at the age of 61 on June 12th, 1886 in Pea Ridge, Illinois. He was buried in Beckham Cemetery, Pearidge Twp., Brown Co., IL.1 1 -
