Sara  was born on April 25th, 1582 in Antwerp.1   Her godfather was  Kint Arnaut and her godmother was Sara Vermys.  Sara 's father was Adriaen BROERS  and her mother was  Maria Van de Poter (Maeyken).  Her paternal grandparents were Joannes  BROERS  and Elisabeth Van Haecht . She had four brothers and two sisters, named Joannes , Adrianus , Michael , Nicolaus , Elisabeth  and Elisabeth .  She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
