Adrianus  was born on October 3rd, 1576 in Antwerp.1   His godfather was Bodewijn Baeyens  and his godmother was Martynken Broers.  Adrianus 's father was Adriaen BROERS  and his mother was  Maria Van de Poter (Maeyken).  His paternal grandparents were Joannes  BROERS  and Elisabeth Van Haecht . He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joannes , Michael , Nicolaus , Elisabeth , Sara  and Elisabeth .  He was the second oldest of the seven children.
