Joseph Joe was born on December 9th, 1767.  Joseph Joe's father was John Sr. Jackson and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Hodges.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Jackson Sr. and Ann Jarvis.  He was the seventh of twelve children.  He had two brothers and nine sisters, named John Jackson, James, Agnes, Susanna, Mary, Jeannie, Ann, Elizabeth, Nancy, Martha and Patsy.  He died at the age of 59 on March 22nd, 1827.
